Me, you ask?
Well let’s start at the very beginning--a very good place to start.
I was born in Miami, Florida.
Youngest daughter of Luis & Liz.
I collected stuffed animals--like a lot.
I found happiness in theater, Disney movies and Harry Potter novels--I still do.
I love animals. I love horseback riding more specifically. It was something I unexpectedly excelled in.
I adored public education but and I'm pretty sure it adored me back. I strolled the halls of Peskoe Elementary, Campbell Drive Middle, South Dade High, Miami Dade College and Florida International University.
Even better than my educators were the friends I made along the way. Most importantly: a best friend. A best friend who then became a boyfriend, who then became a husband.
We fell in love passing notes between classes.
I was 15, he was 16.
We dated. We liked each other. We held hands. We kissed.
We went to the zoo A LOT and collected all the wax-animal-figures.
We grew up and grew together.
A perfect complimentary pair.
After 7 years and a college degree later he proposed.I never saw snow and he took me to North Carolina.Everyone knew it was going to happen, except for me.He proposed in the snow, next to a lake, surrounded by
We planned our wedding.Anthony suggested a zoo.
I liked the idea.
We picked Jungle Island.
It was perfect.
Did I mention our wedding was perfect?
Because it was.
Anthony and I honeymooned in Hawaii.
We traveled the island without a map or a plan.
It was perfect.
I've long since held on the fact that I am the luckiest girl in the world. I might be the happiest too.
I love travel.
I love Disney World.
I love unicorns.
I love vintage.
I love photography.
I’m an anachronism.
I want to travel the world with Anthony. My heart loves to travel. She tells me to leave town all the time. I want to listen to her.
I started a blog because I think it's fun.
I also think my journey is just beginning. I feel like I need a record, documentation.
I want to know who I was when i become who I will be.
Thanks for being my world-wide web buddy. Now go hug a puppy.
